where are my iphone screenshots saved

Ok have had i phones for years. Why is there so much variation when a question is asked. For example screenshots are supposed to be saved on photos. -not on my phone have never found them over the years and as for trying to print something almost impossible. Try to print via ‘share’ nothing. Try select all fine then tap to find print and I lose the highlighted text and just get a couple of letters if lucky. There is a connection my phone sees my printer etc. but nothing works. Try and save an email to notes saves the file name but no contents. It is almost useless in trying to save time. Also increasingly useless is the verification code I have to leave the page I am on to get the code then find a pen and paper to write it down and sometimes cannot even find the page I need to enter it onto!
