I bought an Apple Watch Series 9, but the NFC isn’t working, so I can’t use it for card payments, and I’m not sure why

Transaction terminals at merchants, merchants internet, issues at the bank, to name a few.
Have you contacted Apple Support? They may be able to do remote diagnostics on the watch and check the NFC module. Apple Support does remote diagnostics on iPhones.

If the NFC module is defective, it should be coved under warranty. You Apple Watch is less than a year old.
Unpair your Apple Watch, do a forced restart of both devices and then pair the devices. A forced restart is more than just turning the device off and on.

I also thought the problem was with the bank, I called them and found out if there were no restrictions, and they said that everything was fine, the card was successfully added to the database, I tried it on many terminals and the payment did not go through on any of them
How do you know the NFC isn’t working?
And what might not work?
Let’s trouble shoot the watch. What iPhone is it paired to? Is it updated to the latest iOS version?
