Crossfade doesn't work in Apple Music on Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1. Macbook Pro 2021 M1 chip - No matter how I configure it.

Crossfade in Apple Music simply doesn't work on Mac OS Sonoma (or any other software versions before Sonoma for quite some time). I have tried all the "fixes" - turn off lossless, turn off Dolby - I don't use Airplay. It doesn't work on playlists loaded with songs from different artists/albums. If there is a way that it does work I sure haven't found it. I've probably seen all the "answers" out there and none of them work. I know this is a fragile topic but it doesn't seem that I've seen anything from Apple tech out there that addresses it - other than the basic "Here's how to turn on Crossfade in Apple music" reply. And I don't really have any faith that I will get an answer.
