Can’t change calendar all day setting to timed event

Once I set an event to all day there is no way to change to a timed setting without deleting and starting again

One workaround you can try is to edit the event and change the start and end times manually. While you can't directly switch from an all-day event to a timed event, you can adjust the start and end times to reflect the desired duration of the event. This way, you can effectively convert the event from an all-day event to a timed event without deleting it.

To do this, open the event in the Calendar app, tap on the start or end time fields, and adjust them accordingly to specify the desired time range for the event. Once you've adjusted the times to your preference, save the changes, and the event should now be reflected as a timed event rather than an all-day event.

While this method may require a bit more manual adjustment, it should allow you to achieve the desired outcome without having to delete and recreate the event entirely.
