How do I eliminate the message, iOS 17.4.1 is available for your iPhone?

If your iPhone has been updated wirelessly (over-the-air) but your Mac's data hasn't reflected this change yet, there are a few steps you can take to ensure that your Mac's data is updated:

Sync with iTunes or Finder: If you used to update your iPhone using iTunes or Finder on your Mac, you can still sync your iPhone with your Mac to update the data. Connect your iPhone to your Mac using a USB cable and open iTunes or Finder (depending on your macOS version). You should see your iPhone listed, and you can initiate check for updates (See the pic below). This will do the needful.

Previously, updating your iPhone's iOS might have involved iTunes or Finder. It seems you've recently updated your iPhone wirelessly (OTA). While your iPhone has the latest update, your Mac's data likely hasn't reflected this change yet.

For some reason, Apple released a newer version of iOS 17.4.1, which can only be installed using your computer. So in reality, you may have iOS 17.4.1, but not the absolute most current version of iOS 17.4.1. I went ahead and did our iPhones and iPads via my MacBook Pro and if you do that, the message will go away.

There is a slipstream update for 17.4.1 that can only be installed using your computer. It updates the build from 17.4.1(21E235) to 17.4.1(21E236), but does not change the version number.
