Transfer movies to Ipad

Have some upcoming traveling to do. Would love to transfer a couple of movies to my Ipad, but I don't even know how to do it anymore, especially since this airline doesn't have wifi. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Tried downloading all movies on a Mac then using Sync, these movies do not show up in the Downloaded folder on the Apple TV App. I am supposing these limitations are to protect against copyright hacks. If you are one of those persons with hundreds of GB of Purchased Movies, there is no way to transfer them to a new iPhone. I am posting this to save you the trouble. If this changes in future, or I have missed something, please post a response.

I want to transfer the movies from my iPhone to my Mac without having to download them again via the internet. I have my iPhone connected to my Mac via cable. How do I transfer home movies from MacBook to iPad I want to watch home movies I have on my MacBook Pro (running OS 12.1) on my iPad. How do I transfer them? Nothing I have found online works.

Where did these movies come from?

Most iPad streaming apps will let you download movies and shows for offline viewing.

If these movies are in your iTunes Library on your computer, you can sync them to the iPad as you have always done, and they should appear in the Home videos section of the TV App on the iPad.

If these are commercial movies bought from the iTunes Store, then you can download them from your library in the TV app directly on the iPad.
