Am no expert on Siri ... yet your request certainly deserves some response.

If you need to set up and use Siri, see Use Siri on iPhone

Eg: says: "If you want to activate Siri with a button: Go to Settings > Siri & Search,

then turn on Press Side Button for Siri (on an iPhone with Face ID)

or Press Home for Siri (on an iPhone with a Home button)."

You can also activate Siri by typing. See Type instead of speaking to Siri.

Seems you may also want to customize the Siri settings on your iPhone:

(You can customize if Siri responds to your voice or a button press.)

(Siri can respond out loud or silently (with text onscreen). You can also see your request onscreen.)

Eg: says:

Type instead of speak to Siri

1. Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Siri, then turn on Type to Siri.
2. To make a request, activate Siri, then interact with Siri using the keyboard and text field.
