LGBTQ+ Career Insight Fair - Requesting a community relations representative.

Hello

My name is Patrick. The Career Insight fair is to show LGBTQ+ youth that there are plenty of options for them to thrive in a career of their choosing. From attorney to florist being part of the LGBTQ+ community is a huge PLUS, not a burden. The Fair should provide professionals from each industry to explain the details, why, and how they arrived at their careers. Local college councilors should be available for educational opportunities. Grants, loans, etc. A support system for youth to share their challenges with their peers.

A representative from Apple explaining Apple's career options and the education required would be a huge moral booster for a usually marginalized community. It would show them a path forward.

We plan to use the Hall in The First Unitarian Church of San Jose on 3rd St.

This is a grass-roots effort and it's not fully baked. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
