Went to Apple Store on Oklahoma City… they did not have a home pod 2nd generation in black
so then Apple offered for me option to drive to Tulsa or wait until 2 more days of pay $8.00 to get tomorrow!

Sorry I am unable to speak about what happened at that store. It may have just been miscommunication on the color or was sold before you got there. The offer for you to get it the next day is the same as if you purchased it from the website and had it sent directly to your house or for pickup at the store. They were probably just going to put that order in for you.
Instead of calling the store, you also have the option to go to the website to see if it is available at the store. You can purchase on the site and pick it up at the store. Currently it says that they are unavailable at the Apple Penn Square store, but can get it delivered by Thursday or of course pay extra to have it next day. The white one does show it is available.

Order it online for free delivery. They ship pretty fast. Best Buy might also have some in stock & they also deliver.
OK. Not sure what the question is. For a while the HomePod was much more constrained and users had to wait even longer. It does appear that black sells out faster than white. Hopefully you got 2 of them, they do sound awesome when used as a stereo pair.
The question is why when you call to check they have them in the store… and store says yes! Do you not have them… or what it the reason to then charge $8.00 for delivery just because you all messed up saying you had them in the Apple atore
