Hello,

To update the iOS software on your iPhone, you have a few options:

Automatic Updates:

  • If you enabled automatic updates during the initial setup of your iPhone, follow these steps:
      • Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
      • Turn on Automatic Updates by enabling both Automatically Install and Automatically Download.

When an update is available, your iPhone will download and install it overnight while charging and connected to Wi-Fi. You’ll receive a notification before the update is installed.

  1. Manual Updates:
  1. Update via Computer:
    • Connect your iPhone to your computer using a cable.
  • Depending on your computer’s operating system:
  • On a Mac (macOS 10.15 or later):
      • In the Finder sidebar, select your iPhone, then click General at the top of the window.
  • On a Mac (macOS 10.14 or earlier) or a Windows PC:
  • Open the iTunes app.
  • Click the button resembling an iPhone near the top left of the iTunes window, then click Summary.
  • Make sure you’re using the latest version of iTunes.
  • Click Check for Update.

Remember to back up your data before updating to ensure a smooth process. Enjoy the latest features and improvements that come with each iOS update!
