one device connected to hotspot at a time

My iPhone 12 Pro allows only one device to be connected to my hotspot at a time, whichever is the first device.

This started few days ago out of the blue. I’ve always had 2 of my kids iPads connected to my hotspot for almost a year now.

My iPhone and 2 iPads are updated. I even did the basic like hard reset, reset all the settings, network, etc. My data usage is fine.

I’m at loss on why only one device at a time now.

My iphone 16's hotspot doesn't work on other connected ios device. Hi, I just recently purchased an iPhone 16 (ios 18.6) and has been satisfied, not until its hotspot won’t work on other ios device. It used to work but I can’t remember when was the last time it worked and I tried it again last night but it still won’t. It will show that a device is connected on my iphone 16 but it will only load on my other phone. I tried connecting my laptop (not Ios) and it worked perfectly. Please advise.
