My Walking workout pauses when I take a call from my watch

I have an Ultra watch and while I'm walking about 5-6kms per day in the morning, I also make calls via my watch to clients and team members. I leave my phone at home as I have GPS Cell on my watch so can make and take calls. It's extremely frustrating when I get home and after a 1 hours walk it says ive only done a 10 minute walk, obviously I have been walking and talking for 60 mins, but the watch has paused when I take calls whilst walking, the Apple Watch Ultra is not a smart watch its a dumb watch ATM. How can I stop this dumb feature on Apple Watch and stop my watch from pausing when I receive or make a call whilst walking and using the workout app. very very frustrating!!
