Unable to import files into FCPX

Hi All, I'm trying to import several large files I created using Record It Pro. The files range from 1gb to 7.5gb.. It gets to 50% and stalls. Any suggestions mush appreciated.

Thanks,

Geoff

Hi Luis and Tom,

I FIXED THE PROBLEM.

I had purchased a new computer and I was using the 'migrated' version of FCPX. I deleted, then reinstalled FCPX from the App Store and it now works perfectly.

Thanks again for your help,

Geoff

Need complete information about the system and what you're doing. What's the computer? What's the FCP version? What's the OS? What size is the system drive? How much free space? Where are you importing to, to the library or somewhere else? Where is the library stored? If the media is external, where is it stored? What's the drive? How is it connected and formatted? How large and how much free space?
