My Apple Watch 8 shows handwashng timer but handwashing reminders does not appear on my watch. It does appear on my wavy app. Still, I am not getting reminders after being outdoors for a period of time. My address is listed on mycard, and I have reinstalled the Watch to no avail. Any other suggestions?
If I understand the Handwashing feature correctly, the reminder for hand washing can only be set, if the Apple Watch has been set up for a family member.

Note: On an Apple Watch set up for a family member, you can also turn on handwashing reminders. Open the Settings app 
on the managed Apple Watch, tap Handwashing, turn on Handwashing Timer, then turn on Handwashing Reminders.
To receive handwashing reminders, you must set a home address in your My Card in the Contacts app on iPhone.

Did you already force restart your Apple Watch and iPhone?
I calibrated my Apple Watch 8 with a 20 minute walk and accuracy is now accurate. However, I am getting inaccurate distance readings while hiking. Any suggestions?

You may get inaccurate distances while hiking, if your cellular reception is not stable.
Did you check on your map after recording a hike, if the route shown differs from the route you actually took?
