Apple Watch 8 detecting Motorcycle ride as cycling.

My Apple Watch Series 8 detects and registers my motorcycle rides as bicycle rides. My fitness stats are getting ruined. I am not able to delete these cycling workouts too. Please help.

This is a really nice feature because this data also transfers to my health insurance app and I did not need to start a workout for everyday casual bike riding. A few weeks this stopped working. Sometimes when I go cycling the watch gives me a notification that it detected that I am cycling. When I start a workout from that notification it displays zero distance. Previously it also recorded the distance already travelled when starting a workout this way. Motor biking is detected as cycling I am using Apple Watch 7 and while driving my motor bike watch detects it as cycling Excercise. It’s effecting my Excercise ring

Did you try to disable the Workout Reminder?

Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch, go to ->Workout, then disable ->Start Workout Reminder.

You can also do this in the Watch App on your iPhone.
