iMessage- Was a I Blocked?

Hey there, so here’s the situation:

I’m in a group iMessage chat.

When most people post, I get the reply text box appearing at the bottom.

But- when this one person posts, I don’t get the reply box showing up. MEANING- If I want to continue in the chat, I have to start a NEW chat with the same participants.

Can someone explain? Have I been blocked?
