I lost the air pods 1gen a month ago and can’t find in the find my app and also can’t see the last location of AirPods in map and no sound or direction

Is there any other way to locate lost air pods besides find my? I left the AirPods at the doctor. My “Find My” still says it’s there but it hasn’t been updated since last week. I’m guessing the batteries dead. Is there any other way to track them!
