i’m connected to wifi that is working well but won’t let me finish the update for my apple watch se

i got a used apple watch that factory reset to original settings, i’m trying to update it to set it up & the update keeps pausing & wont let me resume saying to connect to wifi which i am & it’s working well expect for the download. what do i do

Did you already try these suggestions?

Try these steps:

Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger.
Restart your Apple Watch.
Restart your paired iPhone.
Try again to update your Apple Watch.

If the update won't start:

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap General > Storage.
Delete the update file.
Try again to update your Apple Watch.
