iPhone 14 Pro Max lens flare

My friends iPhone 14 Pro Max have a camera problem. Attached photos are taken at the same time with her phone and mine iPhone 15 Pro. Apparently, mine do not have the problem, so I do not think this is normal. We went to Apple Store and diagnostics showed problem only with software. I restored and updated but the problem is still there. Any suggestions?

Because they have different cameras with different lenses.

And yes, it's always been there. More than anything, it depends on the angle. You can get lens flair on one shot, and then simply by tilting the camera a few degrees on the same subject, get none on the next.

Lenses are spherical and convex by their very design. They refract light from all kinds of angles. Sometimes from light sources you don't even have in the frame.
