Dictation changes default text size upon rendering.

When I am dictating answers in my study apps, immediately upon rendering the final words, Dictation doesn’t use the default text size but shrinks it down to an 11 point. My default size is 14 so that I can see it easily.

Why does dictation mess with this, and how can I fix it?

The specific study app doesn’t have a default setting in the iPad, and it only happens on my iPad, not on my MacBook Pro. I’ve set the whole written space to be at 14 pt., and am dictating inside that set space.
