How to prevent Beats Case from melting while charging?

Has anyone had their Beats case melt while charging recently? Mine did and my charger is fine as well. I’ve contacted customer service and sent a million photos but they are non responsive even though my file has been “prioritised” I have to keep calling them for updates.
