"preparing to copy" for hours, trying to copy Time Machine from one external HD to a new one
Backups were on "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" (My Passport for Mac) 23GB, thought I'd just try copying to new LaCie, formatted "APFS" -- now up to 1,000,000+ items! will I lose them if I force quit?
