I have recently updated my phone to IOS 17.4.1 and old photos from 2015-2018 have reappeared on my phone. I do not have iCloud enabled and have no stored images in iCloud. I haven’t seen these images since I deleted them years ago. How can I fix this without going through and deleting them all again.

Did you by chance do the update using your computer? If you did, you may have synced photos from your computer to your iPhone when you did the update. If this is what happened, you can connect your iPhone back to your computer and unsync the photos from your iPhone.

Pictures can't just randomly reappear out of nowhere. Are you certain you did delete them some time ago? Can you actually delete any of the photos on your iPhone?

Latest update will do then my data is recovered but iCloud data should still back
before I erased some photos
