FaceTime asks me to sign in everytime

I just upgraded to a 15 Pro Max. Everytime I try to make a FaceTime call it’s asked me to sign into FaceTime, and every few text messages I send on iMessage, iPhone sends it as an SMS to another iPhone user that I have regularly send messages to on iMessage since 2010
