How to stop Apple TV shows from constantly buffering

shows I am watching stop and I have to go out and restart them constantly. It happened tonight about 15 times. It is beyond annoying

I am trying to watch shows on AppleTV and they constantly stop and I have to go out and start them over. In one episode I have had to do this 5 or 6 times.

For Roku:

Another user (mygreensocks) suggested this procedure from Roku Support staff, which reportedly helped several users.

Remove the Apple TV app,
Shut off and unplug the TV (or streaming device),
Wait 30 seconds,
Plug the TV (or streaming device) back in,
Reload the Apple TV app.

Else try the Network Connection Reset, as mentioned by user Jarieta.
