My Battery Just unalived itself and came back

Can someone explain how this is even possible? Also, the system battery settings says that I was charging my laptop all night! I was asleep all night!!!

MacBook Air - A1932

I have 2 MacBooks registered under my name and when I chose the MacBook, it only let me choose "MacBook" without any specifications as to which MacBook and now I cant change it! LOL
