Hi can't seem to find how to set "markers" in Logic Pro x 10.7.3 when arrow down in global settings I find "Tempo and other stuff but no "markers " settings
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Sorry, I'm confused. I don't know what you are looking for. Do you mean the Global Track Button just above the tracks in the Main Window?
Just in case, enable the advanced features in the settings/preferences.
These kind of videos are always a good source for help or technical inspirations. And I am always look for commands like "create markers" in the key commands window of Logic as key command can be changed by Apple at any time. There is a also search browser in the key command window.
Logic Pro > Key Commands > Edit Assignments ...
