siri used to read texts with a male voice in french now a robot woman

When I received texts in my CarPlay, Siri would read the English texts with a male voice and French accent (iOS set to French)

this has changed to a robotic woman’s voice in English, it’s no good, please update

iPhone 12 mini, iOS 17
