Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Wanted to wipe and reinstall operating system on macbook pro Catalina. Erased Macintosh hd data instead of volume group. Tried to install new macOS using utility disk window -failed. Tried to delete volume group using utility disk window - failed. Shut down and now startup begins, then fails and blacks out. Any solutions?

Thanks, but I was already following instructions, misread one, couldn't get back to disk utility with Command R, and thought I was stuck in a permanent failed start. Eventually, I managed and tried to withdraw the question, but apparently it's not possible.
