Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
April 2024 and apple still haven't fixed this issue. I have a shared airtag and the shared device cannot see the airtag location but it works fine for the owner. In the process of giving apple all the info I can, hoping for a fix as they are useless for what I brought them for.

Thanks for the reply, all devices are on iOS 17, all devices have keychain and findmy sharing on. It seems it is an issue apples end. They have asked me to send a lot of diagnostics data to them. I've read similar cases with others where apple had to change something on their cloud accounts.
think it requires both the owner and people who its shared to, to run ios17 so I don't think it would work with older devices

… AirTag sharing DOES work for many (including me).
Hopefully Official Apple Support can get your issue resolved.
