Why is my Sonoma Mail app not responding to mouse?
When I'm in Mail and going from one email via my mouse or up and down keys to the email selected does not change. What is happening? How do I fix it?

seems most unusual isolated to the Mail.app only
Quit Mail.app and relaunch it holding the Shift key down, and compare your results.
