Overnight iMessage is not showing some contact names

Overnight, half of my text messages just show a phone number and not a contact name, but some show contact names. I didn’t do anything overnight. Did not sign out of my iCloud or anything. Only have one device registered with one iCloud email address and everything is signed in and looks normal. Not sure why this is happening? Thank you.
