Active Subscriptions via APPLE ID are not shown but being charged

I have today (26 April 2024) noted that 2 subscriptions [£25.99 monthly] and [£66.53 quarterly] are being taken from my bank account via paypal for 2 different Apple APP subscriptions. Neither of these subscriptions feature on my APPLE Active Subscription nor Inactive Subscription. I often check which subscriptions are running to ensure i don't accidently sign up to anything. I have now blocked both of subscriptions via Paypal. In both cases, I have never used the services of the APP, and haven't noticed the monies coming out my account until today. 1) Why would these not be showing in Apple Subscriptions? 2) Can I pursue a refund?

If they don't show up in your Apple subscriptions then how do you know they are being charged by Apple?

Do they appear as "apple.com/bill" on Paypal? If they don't then Apple has nothing to do with them.

If they appear as "apple.com/bill" but don' show up on your account the they are tied to a different Apple ID that either has your pay pal account added to it, or can access it through Family Sharing.

If they appear as something other than "apple.com/bill" then they are being charged directly by the app providers and you would need to cancel them directly with the app providers on their websites.
