What iOS version is it now running? An iPhone 6s Plus can run up to iOS 15 but no higher.


If you are not at iOS15.X, try Settings > General > Software Updates. If that does not offer an update and you are not running the latest iOS15 version, then:


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with the Finder - Apple Support


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes - Apple Support
