When I try to add a new Google account in system settings on my Mac, I get the following error before Safari opens for authentication. I've successfully added two Google accounts before.

no resolve—
with Safari.app>Settings>Advanced> turned off under Privacy> “Use advanced...” (ie uncheck the option)
now try add your gmail account

You either go to gmail.com and log in using your browser for the webmail experience
or
perhaps you set up / add your gmail account using the Mail.app

What kind of "new Google account" is this you are trying to add...?

I'm trying to log in to my Gmail account from the system settings because I'm already logged in through Safari.
Have tried to add new account from mail app also, unfortunately having same error.
I'm also facing same issue for last two days.
Authentication Failed: Failed to authenticate with Google. Please try again later.
