Music on iOS17 unfavourites a track I just made a favourite

In the music app on my iPhone, when I select the "Star" icon to favourite a song I am listening to, a second later it deselects it. For context, it has mostly done it when listening to my "station"... a track comes on I like and want to indicate it as a favourite and it instantly de-selects it. Usually happens on the lock screen, too.

I'm on an iPhone 15 Pro, running iOS 17.4.1
