Copy/move/transfer Apple Music Library from 4 year old MacBook PRO to 2024 MacBook...including the Playlists.

Library started on a 2013 MacBook Pro with music transferred from a collection of 9000+ CD's. Built 4 Playlists to fit one at a time on iPhone. Purchased 2nd MacBook Pro in 2018. Used it just for banking until 2020, then bought Mac Air for banking. Started to move old library from 2013 MBP to 2018 MBP. With improved iPhone storage able to keep 100gig of the CD sourced music on the phone. Also started buying Albums/songs from Apple Music to fill the gaps between my record collection and the CD collection. Took a lot of time to clean up the library on the 2018 MBP so 100gigs (ripped songs & purchased) fit on the iPhone. 30+ Playlists built on the 2018 MBP and everything worked as expected on MBP & iPhone. For some now unknown reason I purchased 2 new MacBooks thinking it would make life simple. The 1st MacBook for Banking is pure and used for nothing else. The plan for the 2nd MB is to be the everyday workhorse for the WEB/Music/etc. Copied the complete music library from the 2018 MBP to a stand alone Apple Store purchased storage device (don't use iCloud) and then imported to the 2024 machine. All good, except no playlists made it to the new machine. Now in hour 3 of trying to solve. If the simple solution is to just give up and re-build the Playlists on the 2024 MB that would be nice to know now. Thanks in advance for any help.

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 14.4
