Apple Music acting crazy via Bluetooth headphones

I have a new iPhone 14

I listen to music via Apple Music when I workout. It has been really annoying lately. Connect to my Bluetooth earbuds and it’s fine sometimes for a while. But then I’ll go to skip a song or two and then it just stops. Won’t play a song. It’s not paused it just won’t start the song. Skip to the next and sometimes it plays or I’ll skip a bunch and they all just are stuck at 0. I have to disconnect my earbuds to get them to play again.

Is this a Bluetooth headphone issue, Bluetooth issue, or Apple issue? Sometimes it does it in my car too when I hook up via Bluetooth.
