iPhone, iTunes and icloud

I have a massive iTunes collection on my pc. I do not want it to sync with my iPhone as its storage is at capacity. My goal is to only have “playlists” on my iPhone. I need to know how to set up the pc to only manually move the playlists, not have the pc iTunes sync (thru iCloud). At this point I need to delete music files on my phone and set up manually moving my music files back to my iPhone.

Why delete?! How can I keep my music, including playlists, on my iphone, when adding music to my library that I have purchased(in CD form and copied onto my itunes) and then added to whats on my phone, without itunes deleting everything that I have on my phone??? What would have been 5 minutes, to add the CD’s I received for Christmas gifts, to add to my phone, has turned into an all day event! NOT HAPPY!!!!!!

iTunes Windows - How to remove music list on device? Having trouble clearing the 'Music' list in iTunes > Devices > My iPhone > Music, which is supposed to show music on the device. This list remains, even after I have deleted all music from the iPhone. And whilst it remains in this list I can no longer add the song/album back onto the device (I delete from Settings > Apps > Music > Downloaded music > Edit > All Songs). Is there a way to clear this list in iTunes? I managed to do it previously. Can't seem to get it to clear now though :-/ I usually just drag/drop albums to the iPhone (under Devices in iTunes) then delete albums from the iPhone when I want to change up the music on there. Stop Music Syncing on multiple devices I’ve have searched for this answer but not really sure how to word it. i recently got Apple Music and used the Sync Library feature so I could add songs from Apple Music to my library and playlists. (I have thousands of songs I sync from cds thru iTunes on my PC) for some reason once I “sync library’, I can’t add any songs thru my PC and iTunes that I have on cd. I can only do one or the other. So I turned off “sync library” in settings-music on my iPhone. But now when my wife or daughter got Apple Music, my library sync’d to their phone. Thousands of songs I ripped from cd on my PC and have synced to my phone. How can I remove these songs from the cloud or wherever they are that are stored from my previous sync. Even though I am not syncing library now? (also with what I described earlier) am I correct that I can’t add music to my phone from iTunes on a PC if I am syncing music thru Apple Music?
