Here you go:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Face ID & Passcode.
  3. Enter your passcode.
  4. Tap Turn Passcode Off.
  5. Enter your passcode again.

If the Passcode option is greyed out or not there, then you have either Screen Time restrictions preventing access or your device is being managed by MDM software, usually from a school or work environment.

How can I turn the passcode off on my iPhone 12?

Not quite as simple as it might seem, since the first requirement to turn off the passcode would be that you know the current passcode.

Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Turn Passcode Off

If you are really saying that you forgot the passcode, things become quite a bit more complicated, and you must erase the phone and then set it up again. Hopefully, you have a current backup of the phone to use to restore the data back to your phone once it has been erased and reset.

Do you know the current passcode, or did you forget it?

First u need to know the current passcode, if u don’t know it, there’s no way to change it without losing data, if u know the passcode then

  • 1. open the settings app
  • 2. Select Face ID and passcode
  • 3. enter your passcode
  • 4. Select turn passcode off
  • 5. Enter your passcode.

thats all info I got about changing passcode. Good luck.
