Am I missing some setting in my Community Preferences or is it not possible to view Discussions in a tree-ed view that connects replies to the comments? Using Safari 17.4.1 on MacBook Pro M3 Max with Sonoma 14.4.1.

In the Apple Support Communities, there isn't a built-in option to view discussions in a threaded tree view that connects replies to comments. This feature isn't available in the community preferences or settings. The discussions are typically displayed in a linear format, showing comments and replies in chronological order. However, you can use Safari on your MacBook Pro to navigate through discussions efficiently by scrolling through the comments and replies. If you have specific preferences for viewing discussions, you may want to explore third-party forum platforms or browser extensions that offer threaded views.

@jackosullivan: It doesn’t appear to be a native option, unfortunately. I also looked for a nested view preference awhile back.

I find it challenging to navigate discussion in the linear format. Long multipage threads are particularly difficult. The links work ok on a small scale (while a minor issue, they don’t navigate to the right starting point to begin reading). But following multiple contributors over many pages over time isn’t feasible for me. I usually lose the flow of the discussion pretty quickly and the disproportionate cost:benefit leads me to give up and move on. This is unfortunate since interesting questions usually lie at the center of a complex nexus of interaction.

I would also love to be able to view in nested format. I don’t have much experience navigating plugin solutions from scratch (github and other third party options), but I’m following this thread in case any other users in the forum.
