How to pair a new Beats Fit Pro Earbud that was replaced?
I saw that some people had issues pairing a new Beats Fit Pro earbud when they purchase a single side as a replacement for a broken earbud. The only fix I found in the forums was to reset the earbuds using the charge case ("forget this device" from the phone Bluetooth settings and then hold the case button down 15 seconds). However, this suggestion did not work. The real issue is likely that the new replacement earbud is operating with an older firmware than the existing earbud. You need to simply use the new earbud without using the existing earbud for a period of time until the new earbud is automatically updated with the newest firmware. Once both earbuds are operating on the same firmware, they can then both be used together as normal. Hope this helps someone.
