2024: Is there still an issue with syncing or creating playlists on Apple TV when I don’t have an Apple Music subscription??
The last thread I checked that raised this issue was from 2017. Surely, there must be a fix by now?
The Apple Music app on Apple TV (4th generation or later) works for online music content from Apple: Apple Music subscription, iTunes Match subscription, or iTunes Store bought music. Other music media files on a networked computer should be accessed through Home Sharing and the Computers app on Apple TV.

You must have and need an Apple 🆔 iCloud account to log in and syncing and creating playlists of Apple Music
Can’t add or sync playlists on Apple TV without Apple Music subscription?
