Sons iPad receiving my messages

Hi there,


my sons iPad is receiving all my messages ?!

I have googled it and has said that my son needs to be logged into his own apple account which he is so I’m not sure how to stop this?

all too confusing for me! Why can’t things be simple?

It sounds like you have "Text Message Forwarding" turned on. This causes all your iPhone messages to be sent to your son's iPad.


  1. To turn it off, go to Settings > Messages > scroll down to Text Message Forwarding.
  2. Toggle it off.


Test this by sending another message and see if your son's iPad receives it.
