Jackbox games on Apple TV

I have Jackbox party packs 2, 3, 4, and 5 installed on Apple TV. The Apple TV 4K (2nd gen) in the sitting room is connected to a stereo pair of HomePod speakers; at times the sound breaks up when playing these games. Restarting the HomePods is only a short term fix; it might be because the software hasn't been updated for a few years. The only 'proper' fix for this issue I know is disconnecting the Apple TV from the HomePods altogether temporarily and using the TV speakers.

It's worth noting that on my own Apple TV 4K (1st gen), which is connected to one HomePod mini, this software works perfectly fine with no audio issues. I feel as though the issue might be due to the pair of HomePods.
