Been through the steps remove credit card
my 3 dots are on the top right and have nothing to say how to do this
what a complicated procedure
looks like no one has received an answer previously
is this supposed to be a help line ?

Are you trying to remove the only payment method you have on your Apple Account? Did you know if you do, you won't be able to use the App Store or update apps you already have? A valid payment method is an absolute requirement. If you still want to remove your credit card, see this --> Change or remove the payment cards that you use with Apple Pay - Apple Support

To remove from Apple Wallet app please follow this path,
iPhone > Wallet app (not Settings app) > tap Card to delete > More Button (3 dots in upper right corner of screen > Card Details > scroll down > Remove Card
