Cannot download photos from iCloud onto an MacMini (desktop)
So simple, I want to download pics. I selected 400 pics and hit download nothing happens. No messages. Nothing. I am wired to the internet.

Might be far easier to sync your Mac using Photos app on the device instead.
Otherwise, you can select a limited number of photos online and download. It will take some time for the files to download to your Mac. Try first with a smaller number and see if you have issues.
