Why not nicknames on cards in Wallet?

Google Pay has this, which makes it easier.

I just returned from a business trip, I have 3 identical looking mastercards from the same bank, but I could not tell which were apart. So, while wanting to use ApplePay to make it easier, I still have to pick up my physical wallet and find the part to figure out which it which, so that kinda eliminates the whole point of having the cards in the iOS wallet.

Why this has still not been integrated is an absolute mystery.

You’re welcome. It often requested. I do know that all the art work for the cards is provided by the bank. Too bad the cards can’t also be made to be more visually unique so they can be distinguished at a glance. Let’s hope the next iOS will have improvements for the Wallet app.

thank you, have sent feedback, but since i see thread for this back to 2020 i am really baffled by this has not been fixed yet in iOS :(
