MAC Air M1 Return key failure

Must hold fn key or left shift key to use Return key

It seems like that your keyboard layout is set wrong. Please check that under On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Keyboard in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Go to Text Input on the right, then click Edit.

See if your keyboard layout is set to US international, that is the most common layout

Thanks, but I still can’t get it right. Btw, I use Norwegian keyboard, but changing to US makes no difference. I should tell you that there are some other keys with problems too.

Return key requires fn or shift key
Fw/Bw keys req skift lock key
*and@ keys req fn or shift (left) keys

Another observation is that this seem to change, today my audio keys are in trouble too.

Can it be dirt/dust anyway?
