(Currently 15.8.2)
iPhone on-device storage is permanently configured when the phone is manufactured; additional storage can’t be added later.

An iPhone 8 can be updated to iOS 16. I suspect you typed 8 when you meant to type 7?

Clearly we need some AI to enter what a meant to type … rather than what I DID type.
